CHICKEN CURRY


INGREDIENTS

Chicken – ½ kg
Onion – 2
Tomato – 2
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbs
Cinnamon – 1 stick
Saunf (fennel seeds) – 1 tsp
Grated coconut – ¼ cup
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Chilli powder – 2 tsp
Kus kus – 2tsp
Oil – 3 tbs
Green chillies - 2
Pudina – little
Curry leaves – few
Coriander leaves - little


METHOD

Grind cinnamon, kus kus, and saunf along with ginger garlic paste to a paste.
Grind coconut, chilli powder and coriander powder into a fine paste.
Chop onions and tomatoes finely.
Heat oil in a pan add a little saunf, curry leaves, onion and sauté for 2 mins
Now add the kus kus paste and sauté for a min.
Add the tomatoes and cook for 2 mins
Add the chicken pieces, pudina and sauté for some time
Now add turmeric powder, salt, green chillies and water and cook for 2 mins
Mix the coconut paste to the gravy and cook till the chicken is well done.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
