MUDAKATHAN KEERAI DOSAI



INGREDIENTS

Boiled rice – 2 cups

Mudakathan rice – 4 cups

Uradh dal – 1 tbs

Fenugreek seeds – 1tbs

Salt to taste

METHOD

Clean and soak the rice, uradh dal and fenugreek seeds for 4 hours

Remove the leaves from the stem and wash it .

Grind all the ingredients in the grinder.

Mix salt with the ground dough and allow it to ferment for 6 to 8 hours

Heat tawa and pour the dough and make dosa.

Pour 1 tsp oil around the dosa and close it with a lid.

When the dosa is cooked remove from tawa and serve.

Do not turn the dosa as you do for regular dosa.

SERVING TIP

The best sides dish for this dosa is Poondu milagai podi, garlic chutney or onion chutney. (See for the recipe in chutney category)
