JAVARUSI PAYASAM (SABUDANA KHEER)


INGREDIENTS

Sabudana - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Water - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 tbs
cashew and raisins - few


METHOD

Heat the pan and add 1 tsp ghee, fry sabudana in low flame till it is fried well.
add some water in the fried sabudana and let in stay for 15 - 20 mins.
Now boil milk and water separately and keep aside.
Drain the water from the sabudana and add the boiled water and allow cooking till the sabudana is cooked well.
Now add sugar and allow it to boil for some more time.
Now add milk and cook in low flame.
Fry cashews and raisins in ghee and add to kheer.
Now your kheer is ready.
