PEANUT CHUTNEY




INGREDIENTS

Roasted peanut – ¼ cup
Red chillies – 4
Oil – 2 tsps
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Tamrind – a pinch
Salt to taste

METHOD

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, fry red chillies and sauté the peanuts for 30 secs.
Remove it from fire and allow it to cool.
Add salt,tamarind and water and grind it in a mixer to a smooth paste.
Heat 1 tsp oil in pan and add mustard seeds.
After the mustard splutters add asafoetida and mix it with the chutney.
