BADAM CHUTNEY (ALMOND CHUTNEY)



INGREDIENT

Badam – 10 to 12
Onion – ½
Red chillies – 4 to 5
Oil – 2 tsps
Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Salt to taste

METHOD

Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and sauté the onion, which cut into big pieces.
In a mixer, add all the items except oil and mustard seeds and make a fine paste by adding little water.
Transfer to a bowl.
Heat 1 tsp of oil and add the mustard seeds and add it to the chutney.
Serve with idly or dosa.
