TOMATO CHUTNEY




INGREDIENTS

Tomatoes – 3
Garlic – 5 pods
Red chillies – 5
Oil – 1 tbs
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Salt to taste

METHOD

Cut the tomatoes in small pieces
Heat 2 tsps oil in a pan, add the red chillies, garlic and tomatoes one by one and sauté.
Cook till the tomatoes are mashed and cooked well
Allow to cool and grind in a mixer to a fine paste.
Heat tsp oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds and add to the chutney.
