PORI DOSAI (PUFFED RICE DOSA)



INGREDIENTS

Puffed rice – 4 cups
Raw rice – 2 cups
Coconut scrapped – 1 tbs
Asafoetida – ½ tsp
Small onions – 4 to 5
Salt to taste

METHOD

Soak raw rice for 4 hours.
Soak puffed rice for 15 mins.
Grind the rice and coconut to fine paste and keep aside
Grind the puffed rice, rice and onions to fine paste and add salt.
Make this batter in such a way that it is neither too watery nor too thick
Heat tawa and pour the batter evenly without spreading it with spatula
Pour a tsp of oil around the dosa.
After it is cooked turn it on the other side and remove after cooked.

Small onions - 4 to 5
Red chillies – 2 to 3
Salt to taste
Asafoetida – little

METHOD
Grind all the ingredients into a rough paste and serve it as side dish for the dosa
